What is a prediction market game?
The phrase connects prediction games with the wider idea of prediction markets. They share an interest in uncertain real-world events: a sports result, a scientific discovery or a change in technology. Before an outcome is known, different people can reach different conclusions about what will happen.
VoxFi turns that curiosity into a social prediction game. You choose YES, NO or one of the options offered by an event. This experience focuses on points, reputation and comparing results. You do not need to trade financial contracts to take part in the game.
From your first prediction to the result
Start with a subject you know or want to follow. Read the whole question, the available outcomes and the event information. A useful prediction has an outcome you can identify: what needs to happen, within which period and how the question will be resolved.
After choosing your answer, follow the event and your predictions in the app. When a result becomes available, see its effect on your record and points. Rankings help compare performance; one correct call does not guarantee that the next prediction will be right.
Sports, science, culture and the world around you
Prediction games can cover more than football matches. VoxFi includes categories such as sports, crypto, politics, technology, science and entertainment. The questions available to play change as events are published in the app.
The crewed mission to Mars question on the landing page is a demonstration. Choosing YES or NO there does not submit a vote. To take part in the game, open the app and explore the available events. The demo lets you try the interaction before getting started.
A competition you can share with friends
Share a question or invite friends to discover the game. People following the same subject can reach opposite conclusions. Comparing arguments before the result and revisiting predictions afterwards are part of the experience.
Your record also gives context to your reputation. VoxFi has five tiers: Apprentice, Adept, Seer, Prophet and Oracle. The last two are competitive, reflect the last 30 days and must be maintained. A tier is not a promise of permanent progression.
Getting started on the web or your phone
You can explore events and start making predictions for free. Optional PRO features are also available. VoxFi runs in your browser and has apps for iOS and Android, so you can choose the platform that suits the way you follow events.
To begin, open the app, find a question that interests you and read the event information. Make your prediction and follow what happens. The appeal is putting your view of the world to the test across different events, rather than relying on a single lucky answer.
